Hearing Health Evaluations

A comprehensive evaluation tests for hearing at multiple pitches and volumes simulating different environments to enable our hearing professional to determine your current hearing level.

  • A complete case history, including medical questions, questions about their hearing health and any previous hearing devices are discussed.
  • A visual examination of your ear using a Digital Video Otoscope to check the condition of your ear drum and ear canal.
  • A word discrimination test to verify the brain’s ability to comprehend.
  • Real Ear Measurements including Visible Speech Mapping measuring what sounds are understood by the brain.
  • Hearing Aid Testing (for current wearers) to verify that your instruments are performing at factory specifications.
